Hello!

I grew up in Milaca MN, and lived there until my high school sweetheart and I moved to Sauk Rapids MN, shortly after graduation. My high school sweetheart soon became my husband and we started our family, complete now with two kids and a dog. We enjoy camping and spending time on our pontoon in the summers. We also discovered Geocaching and love to do that too!

I have worked as a daycare provider for over 15 years. I've owned both center and home daycares so I know the in and outs of both very well. Those kids sure keep me busy!

While in high school I took a writing class and wrote a short story for a final. I received and A+ and was pulled aside by the teacher and told I had talent. I was shocked. Ever since then I had the thought in the back of my head that maybe some day I should write a book.

As my girls got older and more active I found myself spending hours every week waiting for them at their activities and practices. Anyone who knows me, knows I can't and don't like to sit still. I am a multi-tasker and must be productive at all times! So I told my husband I was going to go buy a laptop and write a book. He shook his head at me. Six weeks later I announced I was done. Then I had a friend read it because she reads a new book every few days and is honest about what she thinks. She thought it was good and encouraged me to try to publish it. I thought why not? I had "Write a Book" on my Bucket List and had successfully done that, so it was already a win! When it came to publishing, the worse they could say was no.  So I went for it. 

Well it's ready!  Lost and Found was released June of 2011. After getting good feed back I decided to continue and on and make it a series. Found and Destroyed will be out June 2012!

When I'm not working or writing I'm busy with my kids, friends, church, writer's groups, or working out. My newest physical goal is Tough Mudder!  If you don't know what that is search it and laugh with me! Or maybe at me!  I am a fun, energetic, easy going girl who is always up for an adventure.

I hope to continue writing, and often fantasize about one day being a full time writer who works from the porch of her lake cabin. :)
